This volume is making things and handling them: nine ways of taking hold of something, then the timber, earth, stone and jewel a hand does it to, and the buildings, cloth and bamboo it makes out of them. Every character gets a spread of its own, laid out the same way every time.
Readings you can hear. Every on'yomi and kun'yomi with its own example words, because a reading you cannot hear in a real word is not yet knowledge.
